NYC Things to do

We had so much fun: we stayed at NYC from 10/26 to 11/18.  We stayed at 170 Forsyth Apt 3C (rented it from Michelle on air bnb. She was awesome).  Walked dogs around this park where they played soccer every day on this field.. stores / restaurants everything around us.. the place wasn’t big enough because we needed a second room for dogs so that we could sleep better and bed was too small.  We could run to our gym (a mile away), work out and run back. Had dinner w/maddie fenner at blue ribbon in soho right after we got there. Joshua visited us first.. we did the tours by locals together…had real chinese food in chinatown (which is huge and so close to us..joshua felt sick from it..).. then i had dinner w/greg best at harrys steak downtown and we hit fraunces tavern.. he missed his ferry and i got the call again fro his wife “where is my husband”.. then allie came into town and i got to see her at the nyc marathon and ran w/her on mile 23. It was too hot 75 degrees for me to run. Had dinner at night w/allie dan and chelle at striphouse. Then on 11/8 burke and aleysha came to town to surprise chelle on her bday.. we hung out w/them 4 nights. Then dinner harry and judy night they left.. then andy and susan came into town w/summer and serenity to see a UFC fight so we had breakfast w/them at a bagel place and they saw our place.. then dan and janelle came into town and we had dinner the next night with them. Then i had to go to vermont for a night to check on house and meet w/milford…then chelle and i just us finally.the last few nights.. we loved our stay.. felt much more comfy in the city after our early tour by local w/richard.. felt safe.. loved running the bridges.. from our air bnb we could run all 3 right there (brooklyn, manhattan and williamsburg (fav was brooklyn bridge least fav manhattan bridge).  Brooklyn heights so pretty for pictures.. freedom tower blew my mind…love running to it at night..

Secret Food Tour with David was awesome. Tours by locals with Richard (lower east side) awesome. Speakeasy tour with Kate was awesome.  Met private tour museum tour not good.  Ellis Island/Statue Liberty tour good but we were late so need to see Ellis Island (outta time for that) and book (3 months in advance) to go top of Statue Liberty crown next time.  Bateaux New York Dinner cruise was awesome (great views of statue of liberty)

Plays we saw:

Phantom of the Opera (before it’s finished : was great)

A beautiful voice (story of Neil Diamond) : Best play we have ever seen!

We saw Lloyde Cole at city winery: was good.
